The retreat

Strengthen, stretch, sip and slow down in the beautiful Cape Winelands. Gather with us in the heavenly mountains of Stellenbosch for four nights of yoga, breathwork and meditation woven together with exceptional wine, seasonal cuisine, art, culture and nature. Begin each day with movement and mountain views, then spend your time exploring vineyards, discovering local treasures or unwinding by the pool beneath the African sun. Sip South African wines with their makers, savour long lunches under ancient oak trees and embrace the slower rhythm of Winelands living. Surrounded by mountains, birdsong and blue skies, this retreat is an invitation to reconnect with yourself through movement, nourishment, pleasure and presence.

Movement & mountains

Begin the first full day with an energising morning yoga flow and meditative mountain views. After enjoying a slow hearty breakfast, we will take a scenic vineyard route by foot or car (as you prefer) to visit one or two of our favourite Stellenbosch wine farms to taste the nectar at source. Then, after some free time to relax, we will congregate for a family-style South African dinner together.

Culture & cuisine

Day three will be a celebration of Cape culture and cuisine. We will weave art, food and more exceptional wine into our daily movement and wellness practices. After a walking tour of the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden, we will enjoy a light vineyard lunch and free afternoon to explore, read, swim, nap or book a massage treatment.
